Meanwhile, competitors have already made it into retail stores worldwide, albeit without an companion app. Now, nearly a year later, Phonejoy assures the product will hit the market in March 2014. The gamepad controller, which effectively turns a mobile phone into a portable game console, was originally intended to launch in April 2013. This service is intended as a complement to the Phonejoy controller which had been delayed several times much to the dismay of Kickstarter backers. Hong Kong - This week, Kickstarter-funded Phonejoy Solutions Limited announces the release of a new app for iPhones that recommends iCade and iOS7 compatible games to gamepads of all brands. The Phonejoy controller is set to be released in March 2014, currently in production. The current library has over 100 iOS7 games and over 200 iCade games. The app works with the Phonejoy Controller and every other iOS 7 MFi Controller and iCade Controller. Kickstarter funded Phonejoy Solutions Limited today announces Phonejoy 1.0, its first app for iPhones that allows easy discovery of new iOS 7 Game Controller and iCade compatible games.
